Sunday Comics
This drawing was done with Graphix Duo-Shade Paper. The patterns appear when one of two chemical developers are applied with a brush. Its a nice way to achieve halftones for print. Editorial cartoonists often use this process. This piece was done as a part of a portfolio I submitted to the local Dearborn Michigan newspaper The Dearborn Press and Guide when there was an opening for a staff cartoonist. Unfortunately I didn't get the job.
